Huntsman is a short horror game inspired by the self contained sections of Resident Evil. Explore a small office, gather key ingredients, and find a way to eliminate the spider terrorizing the space.
- Built using Horror Engine.
- No controller support.
- Download is external due to file size.

Update (4/12):

Install instructions
Google blocks downloads when too many people try to access a file in a short period, so if you do get an error trying to download the game, I’m really sorry about this and appreciate your patience.
I’m currently working with Itch to get more storage space so the game can be downloaded directly from there instead. That should make things a lot easier moving forward.
There's however a workaround for this.
Once you click the download button on this page and Drive opens on a new tab, instead of clicking 'Download', click 'Add shortcut to Drive' (the icon next to the download icon, in the top right corner) and add it somewhere in your Drive account. Then, go into your account and move that shortcut into an empty folder.
Download that folder, and you'll be ready to go.

You should make the spider able to crawl through the vents as well as wandering around the map! That would make the game so much more scary!

Just a heads up to the Dev. There's an issue where if you put all the ingredients into the vent and then get stuck in a web instead of looking for the spider you will be stuck forever.
Yeah, I got stuck in the web before putting the toxins in and couldn't get out. I went back to the menu and it put me where I was before but the spider just never showed up again so I couldn't finish the game.

Heyyy..... Sooooo. Could there be an update that the toxic will also dissolve the web walls? Had a friend essentially beat the game but as they were looking for the spider they walked into the web. XD

This was a pretty fun game to play despite the fact I ABSOLUTELY HATE SPIDERS. Good job on the mechanics and working in a good bit of story while I was freaking out.

as somebody who has extreme arachnophobia, i had a heart attack when the spider came at me at full speed
Just a recommendation maybe you could make different levels with diffrent areas and different spider types that do different things
Had a ton of fun with this game, I do wish there was a noise to accompany him killing you as it would have made it way scarier especially for those who don't have ARACHNOPHOBIA but nonetheless great fun suspenseful game!
I would have liked a map, because I got lost and confused really easily. Also a list of objectives/tasks and what you've already gathered and still need to find. The audio also always felt like the spider was on the same level as you and that made it somewhat confusing to navigate. These things made the game a bit more frustrating for me after a while and took a little bit away from the scare-factor.
Great job on the checkpoints after death! I am very happy that one doesn't have to start from the beginning every time.
Overall, great game. I definitely had nightmares of spiders chasing me for a couple night after this...
I liked the premise because I like spiders but it was difficult for me to navigate only because I am dumb sometimes. Good stuff!
